Oh so good Banana Bread -
This Banana bread is an all round good bake. Whether you need to bake something quick, or you want to bake a cake that will last in the cake tin for those guest who may pop by for a cuppa... You can top it or layer if with a number of fruits, nuts or chocolate to enchance the flavour further.
Ingredients

100g Caster Sugar
- 75g Brown Sugar
- 2 x Egg
- 100g Butter
- 225g Self Raising Flour
- 3 x Ripe bananas
- 2 tsps Baking Powder
Equiptment
- 2lb loaf tin
- Mixing bowl
- Spoon / Fork
- Baking paper or chosen method of lining your tin
- Chopped milk Chocolate
To Serve
On its own or why not try out one of the following:
A slice of Banana bread, a dollop of yogurt, and any crunchy elements of your choosing, such as:
- Crumbled walnuts
- Chia seeds
- Toasted pine nuts
- More chocoloate chips
Steps
- Beat the room temperature butter, with both sugars until light and fluffy.

Add the beaten eggs and mix until combined
- Add the ripe mashed bananas and combined
- Add the flour and baking powder.
- Mix again. If the batter is thick add a little bit of milk, stir and transfer to your lined baking tin.
- Top with chopped milk chocolate or Banana sliced length ways.
- Pop in the oven for around 30/40 minutes until risen and golden brown. Bake at 165c fan assisted or around Gas mark 3.
